


Kitabus Sunan Al-Kubra Chapter, Acts of the Day and Night Chapter, Rewards for Reciting Ayatul Kursi in Every Prayer, Hadith No. Imam Nasa’i, Imam Ibn Hibban, and Tabarani, narrated on the authority of Abu Umama who said that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi in every obligatory prayer, the only barrier to entering Paradise is death.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) encouraged the Ummah to recite Ayatul Kursi. Because of the greatness of Ayatul Kursi, the hadith encourages it to be read more and more, it is said to keep it in the daily recitation dua, which the Muslim person is careful about and recites repeatedly during the day:ĭeath is the only distance between the reciter of Ayatul Kursi and Jannat after the obligatory prayer His throne encompasses the entire heavens and the earth. And supervising them does not tire him at all. He is supreme and great. Ayatul Kursi in English translationĪllah, besides whom there is no god. Who is eternal and the bearer of universal character. No drowsiness or sleep can overtake him. Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. Who is there, except by His command, who can recommend to Him? He knows everything before and behind them. From His ocean of knowledge, they can master nothing, except what He wills to give. Maan jallaji yashfau’ i’ndahu illa biijnihi. Ya’lamu ma baina aidihim wama khalfahum, wala yuhituna bishayyim min ‘ilmihi illa bima sha-a’ wasia’ kursiyyuhus sama-wa-ti wal ardi, wala yau’duhu hifjuhuma wa huwal ‘aliyyul a’zim. Allah-hu la ila-ha illa huwal hiyyul qayyyum. La ta’khujuhu sinatu wala naum.
